TheVIT Group AS acquires BIWise A/S

TheVIT Group AS, backed by Explore Equity AS, acquires BIWise A/S. TheVIT is a Nordic fast-growing consultancy within technology, data and business development, with more than 110 employees and a 2024 turnover of 150 million NOK, headquartered in Norway with subsidiaries in Denmark. BIWise, established in 2010 and based in Copenhagen, is a recognised technology-independent Business Intelligence consultancy with expertise in BI strategy, data warehousing, analytics, reporting and AI/ML. Through the acquisition, BIWise gains access to TheVIT’s larger technology environment, broader service portfolio and increased delivery capacity. This strengthens BIWise’s ability to support its clients end-to-end while maintaining its corporate identity and core competencies, and supports TheVIT’s ambition to build a leading Nordic powerhouse within data and technology. Twins Consulting, established in 2002 and headquartered in Denmark, specializes in headhunting and recruitment of freelance IT professionals for leading clients in the financial sector. This acquisition marks a strategic step in Epico’s ambition to strengthen its position within the financial, pension, and insurance sectors. Twins Consulting will retain its name and continue offering services within IT freelancing and recruitment as part of the Epico group, while gaining access to Epico’s extensive Nordic infrastructure, global specialist network, and broader service portfolio.
